Corporate Partnerships

Whether it’s hiring talented graduates, participating with faculty on a research project or working with students to solve a business challenge within your organization, corporate partnerships at Bentley have proven beneficial to everyone involved. We take pride in developing long-term relationships with leading organizations that recognize the value in working with next generation of business leaders. See how partnering with Bentley can benefit your team.

Recruiting Bentley Students
The Nathan R. Miller Center for Career Services (CCS) is dedicated to working in partnership with corporations seeking to recruit Bentley College graduate and undergraduate students for full-time jobs and internships. Our Employer Relations Office uses eRecruiting to disseminate information on job opportunities as well as to facilitate a seamless on-campus recruiting process. Our career advising team will also work closely with recruiters to help identify ways to enhance your company’s recruiting presence on campus to help attract Bentley’s best and brightest for future employment at your firm.

Working with MBA Student Teams
Through the innovative BRIDGE Program at Bentley, students from the McCallum Graduate School of Business work directly with corporations and other organizations seeking in-depth analyses and fresh perspectives on business problems and opportunities. Students work in teams with a faculty adviser to address relevant issues and offer recommendations to achieve specific business goals. Find out how your organization can get involved with this mutually beneficial program.

Supporting Applied Research
To advance the frontiers of knowledge, foster curricular innovation, enhance teaching, and inform and improve business practice, Bentley professors pursue a rigorous agenda of scholarship and applied research. Monetary support from corporations, government organizations, private foundations and individuals helps fuel leading-edge research at Bentley and enables us to build and maintain the technology-rich facilities that bolster research and enhance the quality of education. Other important support for research comes from faculty interactions with corporate partners. Organizations have contributed by helping to define topics of interest, providing research sites for field-based research, and providing rich data sets to enhance research activities. Your support of faculty research helps to ensure that the research is addressing contemporary business problems that are important to you.

Giving to Bentley
Many of the college’s corporate partners support the college financially and through in-kind gifts. Should your company wish to get involved in supporting any Bentley initiatives, be it academic facilities like the Trading Room, or monetary support of faculty research or student scholarships, contact Executive Director of Development Jack Pini at jpini@bentley.edu

Corporate Affinity Networks
Bentley is currently working with several corporations that employ large numbers of our alumni in developing Corporate Affinity Networks. The purpose of these networks is to build an awareness and community of Bentley alumni within the firm to provide opportunities for professional development, networkingand student recruiting; and to deepen and leverage the partnership between Bentley and the company.

Local Community Partnerships

Bentley College and the city of Waltham have forged a strong partnership over the past three decades. Programs and outreach benefit local residents and members of the college community alike. Opportunities include:

Academic Scholarships
Students who graduate from Waltham High School are eligible for Bentley scholarship funds set aside for city residents. These include full-tuition scholarships and two $10,000 scholarships awarded annually. In addition, Waltham children and teenagers who take part in Bentley-sponsored youth programs, such as the annual Leadership Institute, may receive financial assistance and fee waivers from the college.

Arts and Lectures
The Bentley calendar is packed with events and activities, most of which are free and open to the public. Offerings include the Bowles Performing Arts Series, concerts by the Bentley Gospel Choir, exhibits in the college art gallery, stage productions by the student drama group, and lectures on bioethics, privacy in the workplace, and other emerging issues in business.

Athletics and Recreation
Waltham residents are among the biggest boosters of Bentley athletics. The college competes at the Division II level in 22 men’s and women’s sports, and in Division I ice hockey. Check the athletics calendar for a list of upcoming home games.

Waltham residents may purchase a membership to use the pool only. The outdoor tennis courts and track may be used by Waltham residents if they are not in use by the Bentley community.

Service-Learning Projects
Each year, about 700 Bentley students put their business skills to work on behalf of human service agencies, government offices and schools in Waltham, through the Bentley Service-Learning Center. Students can fine-tune their skills in a real-world setting, while organizations gain valuable — and free — assistance on projects such as assessing information technology systems.

Employment Opportunities
Waltham residents comprise about 15 percent of the college’s full-time work force. Administrative and academic departments across the college offer challenging positions — with the added advantage of a very reasonable commute! Open positions are posted online.
