Faculty and Research

To advance the frontiers of knowledge, foster curricular innovation, enhance teaching, and inform and improve business practice, Bentley professors pursue a rigorous agenda of scholarship and applied research. Much of this work is transdisciplinary, with faculty from the business disciplines and the arts and sciences collaborating with one another, as well as with outside scholars and business leaders.

Their research and scholarship focuses largely on, though is by no means limited to, Bentley's four "strategic domains" - Arts and Sciences , Business and Information Technology, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, and Global Commerce and Culture. (Visit our Mission and Focus page for more information on these domains.)

Support from corporations, government organizations, private foundations and individuals helps fuel leading-edge research at Bentley and enables us to build and maintain the technology-rich facilities -- including the Design and Usability Center, financial Trading Room, Center for Marketing Technology, Accounting Center for Electronic Learning and Business Measurement, and Center for Languages and International Collaboration - that bolster research and enhance the quality of education at Bentley.

Information on potential funding sources for faculty research is available at the Research Resources section of the Provost's Office page.
