Service-Learning Center
Consistent with the National Community Service Act of 1990, the mission of the Bentley Service-Learning Center (BSLC) is to promote academic learning through service. BSLC does so with the understanding that students’ community involvement outside of the classroom contributes significantly to what they learn within it. BSLC also seeks to enhance students' ability and disposition to become socially responsible working professionals. Through this student community involvement, BSLC assists community partners in serving the human needs and interests of their constituencies in Waltham and the wider Boston community.
