What distinguishes Bentley as a school with a strong emphasis on business and technology?
Bentley provides the most advanced business education possible. Our emphasis on information technology and hands-on experience prepares students to succeed in the business world of the information age. All Bentley students have laptop computers and access to a world-class Trading Room, as well as high-tech classrooms and cutting-edge learning labs such as the Center for Marketing Technology and the Center for Languages and International Collaboration. Bentley is a completely wireless campus, so access to the Internet and electronic communication with friends and family is available everywhere.

How are the library’s resources?
The Bentley Library is wired to all of the major online information services, and has a growing CD-ROM and video collection of reference materials. It has more than 210,000 volumes, 1,500 periodicals in hard copy form and 4,000 in electronic form, and major microfiche and microfilm holdings. Because of the campus’s wireless capability, students can access these resources from almost anywhere including: dorm rooms, classrooms, cafeterias and more. The $14 million library renovation has dramatically increased the amount of quiet study areas, group study spaces, and research computers, as well as providing a new art gallery and a café for the Bentley community to enjoy.

How rigorous is the academic work?
Most students are surprised by the college workload, but there are plenty of academic support services to help you succeed. At Bentley within the Academic Advising Center, there are professional advisers and peer advisers who help you choose your major, select specific courses, and conduct workshops on study skills and time management. All residence halls are equipped with study lounges which provide options for different work styles. In our learning centers, student tutors are available days and evenings to provide help in accounting, computers, economics-finance, mathematics, modern languages, statistics and writing.

When can I use the high-tech learning facilities, like the Trading Room?
