Happy New Year! Like all of you, the Library has been busy preparing for the start of online classes on January 19th. During the first two weeks of the trimester library staff will continue to provide services and resources online to the Bentley community. We plan to reopen the building on February 1st, barring any changes to the University’s scheduled resumption of in-person operations. We will post updated information here when we reopen.

The Bentley Library will remain closed to patrons until in-person classes begin in February 2021. While the building is closed we will resume contactless pick-up of library materials!

Library services and research help will be available online during the week of Winter Intensives: January 11 - January 15, 2021. The building remains closed at this time. Hours and contact information are listed below.

Bentley University has announced an extended winter break this year. The Bentley Library will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2020, through Sunday, January 10, 2021. All staffed services will be unavailable during the break.

We have been notified by SRDS that they will begin a scheduled maintenance window on Saturday, December 26, that will cause all SRDS databases, including Claritas 360, to be unavailable for approximately one week. Service should be restored on January 4, 2021.

Please note the changes to our online help hours for the period of time after classes end on December 17th and before winter break begins on December 24th.

Salem Press is a collection of online reference books published by Salem Press, Grey House Publishing, and H. W. Wilson. These 150+ titles provide excellent overviews and set the stage for successful research projects.

In an effort to support the campus de-densification efforts, Bentley Library will remain closed to patrons until classes begin in January 2021. As we finish out this semester, we will resume contactless pick-up of library materials! Simply search our online catalog, click “request” on any item you want, sign in with your Bentley credentials, and submit the request.
